Government Announces 5 New Marine Reserves

SUMMARY
The Government has recently opened 5 marine reserves on the West Coast, in the South Island. They are the first marine reserves on the West Coast. The reserves names are Kahurangi, Punakaiki, Waiau Glacier Coast, Tauparikaka and Hautai.

OPINION
I think this is great that they have opened 5 marine reserves. It is also good that it is going to protect marine life.
